Overview

Tribute is a Telegram-based Google Calendar assistant available at timetribute.ru and through the Telegram bot В фокусе. This Privacy Policy explains how Tribute accesses, uses, stores, shares, retains, and deletes information, including Google user data, when you use the website or bot.

Information we collect

We may process Telegram account identifiers, Telegram profile information available to the bot, messages and voice transcriptions you send to the bot, bot commands, Google OAuth tokens, Google Calendar data needed to fulfill your requests, reminder settings, usage analytics, error logs, and technical metadata such as timestamps and request status.

Google user data we access

When you connect Google Calendar, Tribute requests the Google Calendar scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar. This lets the assistant read, create, update, and delete calendar events in calendars you choose to use with the bot. Calendar event data may include event titles, dates, times, time zones, descriptions, locations, links, recurrence rules, reminders, attendee-related fields returned by Google Calendar, calendar identifiers, event identifiers, and Google Calendar links.

How we use Google user data

Tribute uses Google user data only to provide and improve user-facing calendar features that you request or enable. These features include showing upcoming events, creating new events from chat messages, changing event details, deleting events you ask to remove, adding descriptions or links, setting reminders, sending daily agenda messages, supporting evening review summaries, refreshing OAuth access, debugging failed calendar operations, preventing abuse, and maintaining service reliability. To interpret your instructions and generate responses, Tribute may send the relevant parts of your message and calendar context to language-processing services used by the assistant. If you send voice messages, Tribute may send the audio to a speech-recognition service to convert it to text.

Google user data we do not use

Tribute does not sell Google user data. Tribute does not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, personalized ads, interest-based ads, credit-worthiness, lending, data broker services, information reseller services, surveillance, or creating unrelated databases. Tribute does not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine learning models.

Storage and security

Google OAuth credentials are stored encrypted on the server. Calendar event content is processed to answer your requests and may appear in operational logs or analytics only when needed to operate, debug, secure, or improve the assistant. Access to token storage, logs, analytics, and server systems is limited to service operation and maintenance. We use HTTPS where applicable, encryption for stored Google OAuth credentials, access controls, and operational safeguards. No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect Google user data against unauthorized access, use, loss, alteration, or disclosure.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information or Google user data. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except when necessary to provide or improve Tribute's user-facing features with your consent, comply with applicable law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse or security issues, or act on your instructions. These transfers may include Google Calendar, Telegram, hosting providers, analytics and logging tools, language-processing services used to interpret calendar requests and generate responses, and speech-recognition services used when you send voice messages. Such service providers may receive only the information needed for their role in operating Tribute. Telegram processes the messages you send to the bot under Telegram's own terms and policies, and Google processes Google Calendar data under Google's own terms and policies.

Retention and deletion

We keep Google OAuth credentials for as long as your Google Calendar account remains connected to Tribute. We keep bot messages, settings, analytics, and logs only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, debug reliability issues, comply with law, and protect rights and safety. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or de-identify it where practical.

Your choices

You may stop using the bot at any time. You can disconnect Google Calendar from the bot using the /disconnect command, which removes stored Google OAuth credentials for your Telegram account. You can also revoke Tribute's access in your Google Account security settings. To request deletion of service data associated with your Telegram account, contact the service operator through the Telegram bot or the project maintainer channel used to provide this service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if Tribute changes how it accesses, uses, stores, shares, retains, or deletes information. If Tribute changes how it uses Google user data in a materially different way, we will update this policy and request any required consent before using Google user data for that new purpose.
